At the time of commencement of shooting for ‘Attahasa’ in Kannada and ‘Vana Yuddham’ in Tamil I knew that I had to face a ‘Yuddha’. That has really happened at the release time. I am struggling for nearly six months running to court from persons like Nakkeeran Gopal and Muthulakshmi. Nakkeeran Gopalan who met Veerappan several times and wrote columns in his magazine after watching the film said ‘No one can do a better cinema than this on Veerappan’. The TN High Court has cleared the film with cuts in the Scene 8 and 14 of the film. I feel the route is clear for release. In addition to all the problems ‘Chicken Gunya’ I faced further complicated my life disclosed AMR Ramesh.

For the role of Dr Rajakumar I had to wait. Akkineni Nageshwara Rao was not available and Suresh Oberoi was right selection I felt.
